In 2020, before the vaccine, a dear family member was one o​f the first to contract the COVID virus. He spent fifteen days in the hospital, lost eighteen pounds, and continued his recovery at home for additional thirty days. Since then, he's been experiencing short-term memory, mild but persistent.He often gets frustrated, especially at social events, but he is improving. And this is the reason why I chose the Dementia Society.
