DoodleMe Series

This series was inspired by many visits to national parks and botanical gardens. 
I create the paintings using a large palette of water-based paint, chalk paint,
watercolor paint, high-flow ink, various markers, gel pens, and pastel pens. 
I daily study zentangle and doodling patterns to enhance the overall design.
The process is slow and intuitive. My favorite color combinations are blue, green, and brown. 

I'm currently painting on 5" x 7" and 8" x10" with a plan to create on larger sizes,
but for now, I'm in a period of practicing and developing the overall design.
